understanding Silk Screen Printing

Silk Screen Printing is also known as screen printing, is a method of printing using a polyester mesh made into a stencil by applying paint using a squeegee across the mesh. Traditionally silk was used as the material for the mesh which resulted in the name silk screening printing.

It is the least expensive and most common T-Shirt printing method for mass production. Using multiple stencils, unlimited colors can be printed producing clear and bright finishes.

98 Designs Embroidery Services, offer a wide spectrum of colors with specific pantone (up to 90% closeness). Due to the need of preparing stencils for multiple colors, prices are thus very dependent on the number of colours.

As a rule of thumb, the more color there are, the more expensive it will cost.
